SPECIAL CELEBRITY GUEST APPEARANCE! CHOPPER THE BIKER DOG
One of the greatest ambassadors of our beloved breed, Chopper the Biker Dog, will be attending the Boston Tea Party decked out in his finest gear and riding his custom Harley Davidson motorcycle. Here is your chance to meet Chopper and his #1 pal Mark Shaffer. Mark and Chopper are wonderful supporters of so many civic and charitable causes – Petco Park’s Dog Days of Summer, Cardiff’s 101 Dog Days of Summer, San Diego Humane Society’s Walk for Animals, Helen Woodward Animal Center’s Pet Day on the Bay, PAWS Fiesta del Paws, 2009 Nice Guys Holiday Party, San Diego Armed Services YMCA 4th Annual Christmas You Missed, Children’s Hospital Auxiliary Celebration of Champions and much much more. Chopper is currently in training for the Helen Woodward Animal Center’s 5th Annual Surf Dog Surf-a-Thon on September 12 in Del Mar. If you have the chance – head down to dog beach in Del Mar on the 12th and cheer Chopper on!

BBQ LUNCH AND GOURMET LEMONADE
Boston Buddies will have the BBQ fired up and be serving freshly grilled hamburgers, veggie burgers and hot dogs – or feel free to pack your own picnic lunch! Little Pantry LA will be there serving up gourmet lemonade and fresh fruit!
PET PORTRAIT SESSIONS
Professional Portrait Photographer Allie Kemp will be onsite and available to take professional photographs of your dog! Fifteen to twenty minute mini photo sessions will be available from 10:40am - 2:20pm at the Tea Party. The $30 session fee includes one 8x10 print of your choice from the session and 80% of the session fee will be donated to Boston Buddies. Appointments are limited and fill on a first come first served basis so don’t delay!

TELLINGTON TTOUCH DEMONSTRATIONS
Linda J. Troup, Tellington TTouch, CAPiT, and Touch N Paws will be on site throughout the event to demonstrate the amazing power of TTouch.
What is TTouch? It is a training system that uses bodywork and non-habitual movement to influence the behavior and health of your dog. TTouch can help in cases of car sicknesses, conditions associated with aging, excessive barking and chewing, leash pulling, jumping up, aggressive behavior, extreme fear and shyness, resistance to grooming, social fears and sound sensitivity and in providing supportive and comfort care during illness, injury and to hospice patients. Linda will be demonstrating the various touches and wraps that can help you improve your communication with your dog.

That’s right! You read it correctly – we’ve seen so many cool BT tattoos at past Tea Parties that this year we thought it would be fun to have a contest and decide who is sporting the best Boston Terrier tattoo at the Tea Party!
DOGGIE CONTESTS AND PARADE! 12:00 – 1:00 pm
Get ready to showcase your pup’s talents in a variety of doggie contests beginning at 12 Noon, with a costume parade to select the Best Dressed pup starting at 1:00 pm! 2011 Rescue Calendar $20 each
The Boston Buddies 2011 Rescue Calendar will be available for sale at the Tea Party. Here is your chance to be one of the first to see and purchase the 2011 Rescue Calendar. The Calendars make great holiday gifts and are an easy way to share your love for this wonderful breed and support Boston Buddies at the same time. Don’t delay as the Calendars have sold out every year!
NOTE: 2011 Rescue Calendars will not be available for sale online until after the Tea Party.

Ladies Tees Have Event Logo on Front. Men's Tees Have Event Logo on Back and Boston Buddies Logo on Front Ladies and Men’s Event T-Shirts sporting the fabulous Brian Rubenacker/Lili Chin logo will be available at the Tea Party for $20 each.
If you would like to order your T-Shirt online before the Tea Party there will be a $2 charge per shirt in addition to the $20 for the T-Shirt to cover the cost of postage and the mailing envelope.

Each year the selection of items in this very popular event gets more and more tempting!
The Silent Auction tent will be open for you to view and bid on items from 11 am - 1:15 pm. Bidding will be closed at 1:15 pm and donations collected and items distributed to the winning bidders beginning at 1:30 pm.
We thank our many generous donors for the wonderful items already received. If you have an item you would like to donate for our Silent Auction, please Email Us and we will contact you with information on where to send the item or to make arrangements to pick the item up prior to the Tea Party.

MEET THE FOSTER DOGS
This year both Boston Buddies and Boston Brigade will have informational booths and foster dogs at the event. Boston Buddies and Boston Brigade have cooperated for years to make sure that any needy Boston Terrier in Southern California is taken care of. So stop on by the booths and say hello to the foster dogs and find out more about both of these great rescue organizations! Please note that no adoptions will take place at the Tea Party unless previously arranged with the applicable rescue organization and with a previously approved adopter. If you are interested in adopting a rescue dog we suggest you visit the Buddies or Brigade websites and submit a completed Adoption Application to begin the approval process.
